Friendship Dental Lab is pleased to announce that we have acquired Carbon 3D Print Technology which will allow us to start rolling out some services otherwise thought to be impossible.

*Effective immediately, all single unit fixed & implant cases scanned by an IntraOral Scan are compatible with Carbon. **Please make sure your scan body is compatible with the lab.

Carbon 3D came into the tech space only a few years ago, creating  a paradigm shift in what was thought to be years away in 3D printing technology. They blew the public away at their initial TED talk reveal (See Here)

In the near future, we will start to explore other possibilities with the Carbon printer – such as dentures, aligners and removable partial frameworks. This push in technology helps create the most accurate and high quality products that our precious and loyal customers deserve.

Our marketing & technical teams are here to answer your questions and discuss applicable solutions with you! Call us today and join the future!

Carbon Technology Brings New Capabilities to Dental Model Creation

Carbon’s process

Despite industry advances, traditional approaches to additive manufacturing force trade-offs between surface finish and mechanical properties. In contrast, DLS (Digital Light Synthesis) technology, enabled by Carbon’s proprietary CLIP process, is a breakthrough technology that uses digital light projection, oxygen permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.
